Well that sounds unpleasant. I wish her well in her medical treatment, which preferably will take place somewhere out of the public eye.
Something similar happened to my wife. I despise Ms. Boebert and what she has done to our democracy but don’t wish that kind of thing on anyone. It’s scary and like you and @Gyrate I hope she recovers well (and maybe that recovery will include getting out of politics and just going back to bothering neighbors).

Bad news for Boebert-haters: she overwhelmingly won the Republican nomination in Colorado’s 4th District yesterday. She decided to run in the 4th District this year despite currently representing Colorado’s 3rd District, reasoning she’d have an easier time getting reelected. She was right.
The district overall is redder than her current district, so she should have no problem winning the general election.
