…but within a normal person’s price range. She sent 60 women to the Miraval spa in Sedona, AZ and they did things to make them feel better about life, or something. https://www.miravalresort.com/
My friend and I really want to do something like this, but we can’t swing the $3K for a three night stay. Do you guys know of other resorts where they do spa stuff and wellness activities that are in a more moderate price range? We live in Indiana, and could drive or fly to wherever it is. And we don’t care when we go, it could be in the middle of the week or something.
Any suggestions?
I don’t have any personal experience, but you can try doing a search at SpaFinder. They have an option for “Affordable Spa Vacations”, but I’m not sure how they define affordable.
Well, my parents go to this one all the time:
It’s in the middle of Saskatchewan, which doesn’t exactly sound spa-a-rific, but both of them love it. It’s modestly priced, and has a full range of services.
Saskatchewan isn’t a particularly expensive place, generally.
Of the four major ones in my vicinity, the facials start around $60 and the massages are a bit more than that. It’s the body treatments and really fancy schmancy things that go into the three figure range.
Note: hotel and resort spas charge a lot more than the smaller ones.
