This movie must be about 20 years old, maybe older. I was about 4yo when I watched it so I don’t remember much. The main character was a bionic man. Only two scenes have stuck in my mind:
Scene 1
Remember the scene from Terminator where Arnold fixes his mechanical arm? Exactly the same here too. The hero has his right hand opened. There are wires exposed. He pulls a wire with his left hand and one of his fingers in his right hand moves.
Scene 2
Our good hero has been in a fight or something. He wakes up in a prety bad shape. His feet are tied with chain to some metallic frame and he is hanging upside down. He’s outdoors, in the middle of nowhere (maybe a desert).
Sound like the Empire Strikes Back to me. The upside down is in an ice cave at the beginning, the mechanical hand bit is near the end. Then again it may be that this pair of scenes shows up more often that I thought.
Dancer_Flight, no, it wasn’t Star Wars. I don’t think the movie was set up in a futuristic world.
Miller, no. That movie was released in 1989. I saw the movie in a theater sometime in 1985, maybe earlier than that. And the main hero was nothing like Van Damme. He was more like a long-haired, pot bellied redneck
