It starts really slow, it is a woman singing…and it builds up kinda disco like and she starts going,
“Lets dance…lets dance…lets dance…lets dance…lets dance…lets dance…tooooonnniiiiiggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiite”
i am dying here…i just heard it on the radio…and i cannot figure out its name. I thought it would be “Lets dance” but i cant find it under that name…
I’m afraid I don’t know the song, but have you tried checking the radio station’s web site to see if they post a playlist? If you can get a good idea of what time it was you heard it, you might have luck.
Can anyone do the same with this one? Normally, I’m the one people ask about song lyrics, and since I can’t figure it out it’s driving me nuts. I even tried putting the phrase into search engines, but nothing. It’s a male singer, and the phrase in the song is “more colorful the bruise.” My guesses where A Perfect Circle or Fuel, but the lyrics don’t match any of the new songs either group has released. I know the song has to be by an aternative group, and I’m almost positive the song is less than a year old.
The only song I know with “bruise” and “color” in the same line is Foo Fighters - Hey, Johnny Park!
“Come and I’ll take you under / This beautiful bruise’s colors / Everything fades in time, it’s true.”
I’ll try to find the song, as I listen almost exclusively to alternative rock music.
