I’d recommend having your lawyer call the hospital administrators on your behalf. That way you don’t have to worry about saying the wrong thing while stressed out over this, and that’s worth paying for.

Tris, I prayed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for your Sweetie Pie. But in your heart you know that the Lord might want to take your darling daughter to heaven. So I’m also prayiing that you will have the strength to accept whatever He decides, and that He helps you to resolve your other problems and gives you peace.

The hospital will not support any attempt to block my visitation. The “behavior” which instigated my ex to try this was “the look on his face, and the way he was standing.”
The Cardiologist says Pie did not have a heart attack. She might have an inflammation of the heart. She is still on the ventilator, but is a lot more responsive, and has been awake. Still no expectation of when the ventilator would be taken off. Her blood pressure is up, they were trying to give her nutrition via a tube this afternoon, very slowly. If that works, she will get fed a bit faster, later.
I will email again tonight, with an update.

Good news about the visitation. I’d guess it’s not the first time the hospital has seen a patient “used” like that. Also it’s good to hear there was no heart attack. Again, take care of yourself.
