As the :ahem: title of this thread suggests*, please choose thread titles that give some clue as to what the thread is actually about. “What should we do about this problem?” doesn’t really let your busy, always-on-the-go Straight Doper judge whether it’s worth his or her time and the strain on the hamsters to click on the link; “What should we do about giant killer death asteroids from outer space?” lets people know what they’re getting into, so people who are sick of the whole topic can go talk about Enron some more, while the ardent proponents of the Build Powerful Orbital Lasers camp can debate the subject with the adherents of the Giant Killer Death Asteroids From Outer Space Are Just What This Planet Needs school of thought.
