Welcome, anyway. What was the name again? Downforce? Okay, got it. He’s not going to post drooling idiocy about F1, is he? Whatever it is? Fighter planes? Computer games? Or is it keyboards after all? Cause if it is, then I’ve got a special place in my heart for Pause Break. I do this frequently. It’s like a coffee break, only you don’t have to drink coffee during it. BTW, I understand that with Windows 2000 you no longer have to push Pause Break every time you want to stop typing. Has anybody else heard this?

Thank you for the welcome.DDG F1 is formula 1 grand prix,similar to CART. Downforce refers to to the force of the air passing over and pushing down on the front and rear of the car, the faster you go the more downforce you get and this generates more grip on the track.

But F1 lost its allure for me when Jimmy Clark, Graham Hill, and Jochen Rindt died. (sigh) “The Cruel Sport,” as it has been described. A basketball player screws up and he wrecks his knee. Maybe has to retire. Racing is different.

dropzone: F1 has been made a lot safer over the years. The last fatal crash was, alas, Ayrton Senna in 1994. CART, unfortunately, claims its victims as well - Greg Moore comes to mind. It’s an integral danger of auto racing.
But I still LOVE F1. Less than 4 months to the OZ GP!
