Pokemon Trades and Battles

He said this morning he has an Infernape and so he can breed you a Chimchar. Maybe a weekend trade?

Sounds good. What’s he looking for? I have a couple of good Charmanders with Flamethrower, one is Hasty and Strong Willed, the other Hardy and Mischievous. I also have a ton of Pikachus with a few spare Light Balls. (I’ve been really lucky lately catching things holding items.) If those don’t interest him, he can just request whatever and I’ll see what I can do.

He says he’d like “anything in the Bulbasaur family.”

That’ll work. I have a Ditto on GTS looking for one, which shouldn’t take too long. How does Sat/Sun afternoon sound?

If anyone is willing, i’d quite like to trade my Poliwhirl and Scyther to someone, and then back again, to get them to evolve. I’m afraid I don’t have a huge amount of rare/interesting Pokemon to actually trade with, though, but i’ll have a look if there are requests in kind.

Poliwhirl w/ a King’s Rock for Politoed, right? As as for the Scyther <-> Scizor, I wouldn’t mid doing that either. I want one for my Pokedex, but I’d prefer keeping my Scyther.

That’s right. If possible, i’d like to trade them with each other’s item, so they’d need to be swapped over and then sent back. I’m avaliable pretty much all day today, though i’m GMT so it’s already 4:00pm here. Friend code’s 2880 2251 3229.

We’ve had some nasty storms over here, so my electricity has been a little intermittent. Would you mind if we we wait a day or two for things to come back to normal?*

(Mini-rant here. I stay with my parents over the summer, and ever since they moved, every time it so much as drizzles, the power and cable goes wacky. Friday night we had an epic storm that knocked out the power until around noon on Saturday and the cable came back late that night. Barely 20 minutes after I posted, we lose everything again and the power company says things won’t be back until 6-8ish AM Monday. (I think that’s 10-12ish GMT for you Revenant) Fortunately I can use the library computers, but I can’t connect my DS to their network.)

I’ll do the trades for free, but if you have a Hippowdon or it’s pre-evolution I could use one of those. I can give you a something harder to find outside of Gold/Silver or just a junk Pokemon, but I’ll throw one of the type resistance berries. They’re a pain to find in Diamond/Pearl, but you get dozens in Gold/Silver.

*-The rescheduling applies to BrickJr too. My apologies for not being able to make our trade this weekend. Maybe you can squeeze me in an afternoon this week (or weekend if you’ve got school/camp/whatever).

I’ve got HGold myself, but I don’t mind whatever Pokemon/item you’d trade for the Hippowdon. I’ll see what I can do about catching one, since I think it’ll involve some Safari Zone jiggery-pokery, but it shouldn’t be too tricky.

In that case, just grab a Spinarak, Gligar, Sableye, or anything from this list except Mankey and Arcanine. I don’t want to make things a big hassle over something I can get from the Safari Zone myself.

That lucky; I went out and spent a while trying to catch a Hippopotas (I needed one, anyway), only to find coming back on now that I must have quit without saving. :smack:

I have a Spinarak and Gligar already, helpfully (also from that list Mantine, Donphan, and Baltoy). Also lots of bred Bulbasaurs and a Smeargle, if you need one.

I’m terrible at remembering to save. I’ll play a game for 3-4 hours, get up to go to the bathroom or something, then return and figure I must’ve saved before I left. Then BLAM! A few hours down the drain. :smack:

Since we’re already getting together, and you have a few things I could use, is there anything from Silver you need? I need Spinarak, Gligar, Mantine, and Smeargle. Other than the stuff from that list, I have some Charmander, Cyndaquil, Turtwig, and with a little time to level them up for breeding, Mudkip and Piplup.

I’d appreciate a Charmander. As far as Silver onlies go, a Ledyba/Ledian would be great.

Sorry for the absence, the weather has made for a bad week.

I have everyone’s Pokemon, so just shoot me a date/time to trade.

Also, a few questions for BrickJr, or anyone else who cares to answer- According to Bulbapedia, I’m supposed to find Brock in Diglett’s cave on Saturday, where he’ll trade me a Diglett for his Rhyhorn. First, is there any conditions for him appearing there? I’ve beaten him in a rematch a couple of times, and messed around with clock to try morning/day/night, but I still don’t see him. Second, is it like with Jasmine’s Steelix where the level of the Pokemon you give is the same as the one you receive? Third, same as the second question, but with Nature instead of level (I heard a rumor, but it was just some random nobody, not a Doper or a Doper-In-Training, so it isn’t the most reliable. It was after I’d already traded, so I can’t test it out.)

If you ever mess with the clock all date-based events will be pushed back a week, just fyi.

So far as today goes, i’m pretty much avaliable until around 6-ish here, so that’d be in around 3 hours. I’m guessing the evening here would probably be better, but i’m not certain as of yet when i’ll be in later on. Other than that i’m fine anytime in the afternoon tomorrow or Monday.

… :smack:
(I’m making my rage face now.)

I’m about to head over to a friend’s to watch the soccer match (or football, I guess  ) so how about tomorrow afternoon your time? I have a few Ledyba and Charmander ready, so how about those for a Gligar and Smeargle? If there are any others you wanted, just say so and I’ll take the stuff you mentioned previously. I’ll check back tonight to get everything ready and see what I need to breed.

I don’t mind just taking a couple of pidgey or whatever for those other HGold exclusives you wanted. We’ll need some random trade fodder for my evolution trades anyway. And yes, tomorrow afternoon is fine.

Good luck against Ghana!

I just had a very lucky accident. Jirachi is available for download via Wi-Fi. My son forgot to download the Winner’s Path into Heart Gold. The distribution ended yesterday, but I tried it anyway. The mystery gift was still there, but it was a level 5 Jirachi (the same one distributed at Game Stop before the release of Heart Gold/Soul Silver).
Poking around on the internet reveals that this was supposed to be for the European versions of the Gen IV games, but , at least as of 10 minutes ago, it’s working in North America (California to be precise).

Just thought you guys might want to know.

The match was pretty good, up until, you know, the US lost. :frowning: Its up to you to defend group C’s honor now against the dastardly Germans and the rest of the world, so good luck tomorrow/today!

As far when, how’s 3/4 your time? (11/12 here I think)

This worked for me just a little while ago, thanks for the tip! Even though your son missed out on Winner’s Path, the Jirachi also comes with the Night Sky’s Edge route for the Pokewalker for the next time he puts a Pokemon in it.
