I am sorry to report that Bricker Jr has mislaid his HG cart. We will have an intensive house search tomorrow, but at the moment, he is not in a position to do any of the previously mentioned trades.

Tough luck with the Germans. I didn’t see the first half, although the commentators said you were cheated out of a goal or two. The second half, though, was unfortunate.
Nope, your post was at 6, so just one hour out probably explains things. Tomorrow at around the same time your side would be fine (so I think, 11-12 there, 4-5 here).
We were robbed of one goal, but in the end, that didn’t really seem to matter much.

The cable guy supposedly fixed it this morning, and so far things seem okay.
As for the trades, I thought we’d get them all done, otherwise I would’ve done the important stuff first. I can get you a lvl 1 Teddiursa if you’d like; Ursaring is a pretty decent Normal-type that’s worth building up yourself and using. The Burmy (thanks Trion!) I bred some copies from. I think they’re Sinnoh-only, and the Linoone is from Hoenn, although an unevolved Zigzagoon can be caught in Johto. If those two are unacceptable, I can get you some starters or whatever. The Vulpix is Silver only, but I have a Ninetails if you want me to breed you a lvl 1. They’re decent, but there are tons better Fire-type to use so it probably isn’t worth the trouble. Finally, I noticed you had your held items backwards. Give the Scyther the Metal Coat and the Poliwhirl the King’s Rock. (I noticed you Scyther was super-levelled. I bred a butt-load of them on Pearl and a lot have really good Nature/IVs that I can bring over*. If you’d like, just give me a junk Pokemon that won’t evolve with a Metal Coat and I’ll give you one of the good lvl 1 Scyther with one if you’d like to start from scratch. Since Scizor and Scyther’s base stats are so different, this may be worthwhile if you plan on customizing it EV-wise. I’d just use the item up for you, but they’re kinda rare. )
I’ll check the thread every couple of hours tonight on the off chance that you’re around. If you can’t make it today, just say when we can try again. I’m open pretty much full-time during summer-break, so this is at your convenience.
*-I won’t consider this cheating on my goal since I already have a Scyther on Silver and I’ll just trade myself junk Pokemon in return. I’m open to criticism on this point, especially that of BrickJr, who I think is doing the same “no using super-charged previous collections” thing as I am. (Shoot, I love to hear the kid’s opinion about anything Pokemon!)
I don’t IV/EV train, so really I don’t mind about all that kind of thing to be honest - not a very pro trainer, i’ll have to admit.
A Teddiursa and a Burmy would be fine. Having the two swapped items was purposeful; i’m not certain whether the evolved version get moves automatically. I’m avaliable for trading from this point onwards today; next certain opportunity would be next Saturday, but it’s not urgent, so I don’t mind waiting.
Cancel that, actually, i’m afraid i’m not going to be avaliable for the rest of the day.

The globe in the GTS is pretty nifty (I know where you all generally live, muhahaha!), but maybe being able to ‘tag’ one or two Pokemon and receive updates about where they go would be nice. I already get a message on the Wii when my GTS trades go through, so maybe a WiiWare app. Using Trainer ID, or something like the friend code but exclusive only to the cartridge, it doesn’t seem too difficult to know where a given Pokemon is at any time. The big issue would seem to be the amount of info that Nintendo’s servers would have to deal with, but charge 1000-1500 Wii points to cover those costs. (I’m by no means an expert, so please correct me as needed.)

Revenant- I’m about to leave for a couple of hours, but I’ll be available pretty much any time after 6 GMT, including tonight and all day tomorrow. Also, I just had a Luvdisc swarm, so I have plenty of Heart Scales if you need some.
BrickJr-Here’s how I’ve been playing Silver: I’m mostly not using my Pearl collection. The major exception is that if there’s something I’m interested in raising in Silver, I’ll bring a copy over for the bonus xp, but only if I actually caught it first. For example, I needed an Electric-type and decided on the Mareep family. I caught one in Silver and then went to Pearl and bred one to trade with myself. I’ve also traded with myself to evolve things, but only using items I found in Silver. The Pal Park is fair game, although I’m not eager to play through the GBA games for 30+ hrs just to get one or two legendaries again.
ETA- I just saw your post but I’m just about to step out the door. I’ll post as soon as I get back, or we can go tomorrow.
Alright, i’ll go on then. Also a Heart Scale would be very appreciated; i’m afraid though I don’t think I have any useful items myself, though i’ve got a few of the evolution stones if you want.
I’m back, but only for around an hour or so. I’ll jump on WiFi and hopefully catch you. Any stones are good, as are any of the berries that “raise X in a pinch” other than Leichi berries. (I was wrong about this afternoon, but late tonight and all day tomorrow is still good if we miss each other.)
