Liberal to border-line libertarian and I pay.
I was a moderator at one point so I get to be here for free.
Also, I am an Anarcho-Syndicalist Wobbly Trotskyite, so not really a “liberal.” Liberals can’t blow tenor sax like I can.
I pay but I don’t fall into the liberal category exactly. Not a conservative for sure, though. That brand is poisoned. More lib than con. I didn’t vote.
I do consider myself a liberal and didn’t pay until the ads just got too annoying. BTW, I was able to pay just by giving PayPal a credit card, not actually getting an account.
There is a sense in which I might consider myself a conservative, if only modern conservatives didn’t live in a fact-free zone. This is even true of the Canadian Conservative party which killed the long-form census, muzzled scientists, and tried to restrict support of scientific research to industrial and applied research.
But I can think of at least one Liberal sax player who got ------------------ never mind. 
Can’t work out which pigeonhole to cram myself into. I think some solutions to our society’s problems can be found in the past, others by taking chances on theory and study. And neither mindset is cleanly reflected I the current US definitions of liberal/conservative. Therefore, I ain’t payin’.

I consider myself to be moderate, tho I do have more liberal leanings, and I’ve been a paid member every since subscriptions started. It’s more than worth it to me.
Early results are showing the opposite of this stereotype - liberals are significantly more likely to pay for their membership, at least the ones responding to this poll.
But even assuming this is a representative poll, you can spin it in a different direction. Since the board as a whole is perceived as a liberal board, liberals would be more likely to want to support it than conservatives.
I’m an anti-republican and I don’t pay, which seems like a very republican thing to do.
American style conservative or rest of the world style conservative?
Mostly liberal, and I pay because I like to support sites that I frequent.
I’m liberal and I pay. I feel a responsibility to do my share to keep this place going. I’d be so bored without it.
I’m a liberal and have been paying ever since the board went pay to post. The subscription price is reasonable and I’ve probably read the boards 95% of the days since I discovered the board back in 2004.

I am somewhat liberal and happily pay for my subscription. I have anonymously gifted several subscriptions in the past, although it is not as easy to do as I would like.
