I went through an experimental stage in the first few years I was sexually active, did stuff with both sexes, and found out that girls did it for me and guys didn’t. Sex is fun, no matter who you’re doing it with, but women turn me on in a way men don’t, to the point where I’ve never bothered seeking out sex with men once I was past that experimental stage even when I was really horny. Plus, I’ve never fallen in love with a man. I consider that to be the defining point for orientation. If I’d ever experienced that gut-wrenching need to be with someone and had that someone be a man, I’d consider myself bisexual. I’ve been in love several times, but never once with a man.

I’m in my 50s and straight, but had a few in my early teens way back in the 70s. A buddy talked me into stripping naked and we fooled around (mostly hand stuff). It was my first sexual encounter.
I wasn’t attracted to him or other guys but it felt too good to stop, so I did it with him a few times and other guys I met for a couple of years.
Always felt guilty as hell afterwards. But as soon as I was horny I was up for it again. Started dating girls not long after and never went back to guys or even considered it.
I know a few other guys who said they did the same. Women too. You hit puberty and you’re overwhelmed with hormones, so you’re open to feeling ANYone’s touch.
Chalk it up to young experimentation.
