Do not own an SUV, and would not
City Dweller
I’m a conservative. Were I American, I’d probably vote Pubbie.
I drive a four cylinder car. As a rule, I dislike SUVs and the people who drive them.
Edit: city dweller (well, suburban), but I see more SUVs here per hundred vehicles than I do in the country.
Former Republican,the virtually extinct type.
Do not,have not,will not.
Rural.
......and since you ask,a mini-rant.Yesterday going through a 25mph pedestrian zone an SUV is on my ass.I stop for the red light which REALLY pissed off his Important Person Things to do Places to go self,so he floors it and passes me,and the cars in front, as soon as the light changes.
So,couple miles later ( taking a friend of my kids home ) there's another SUV tailgating, all I can see is grill in the rearviews . Trying to find the unfamiliar driveway in the dusk,I put on my turn signal a bit early, hoping I don't get run over or T-boned.He considerately leans on the horn to alert all traffic in the tri-county area.To be fair,I understand these drivers most likely had pregnant about to drop wives,or perhaps the President who had just been shot and the Secret Service opted for THEIR vehicles to get to hospital in the three nanoseconds available.
a) Democrat
b) Yes, but it’s a 1984 4Runner
c) City dweller, but my truck makes it offroad often enough
a) Are you a Democrat, Republican, or other? Republican but a Green Moderate Republican. Probably the type that **Carson O’Genic ** was as a guess.
b) Do you own an SUV? Hell no, I never plan to.
c) Are you a city dweller? Suburban dweller with a long commute.

a) Democrat
b) No, an Elantra. The only problem I have with SUVs are gas mileage, though.
c) Small town.
A) Democrat
B) Yes, a Ford Expedition
C) Suburbs
Registered independent. I tend to be conservative on fiscal matters, and very far to the left on lifestyle matters.
We have a Subaru Forrester, a four cylinder mini-SUV.
We live in a small town on the outer edge of a major metropolitan area. The exburbs, if you will.

Not affiliated. But leaning left. None of the cookie cutter choices fit us.
Both my Wife and I have what I would call large mid-sized SUV’s (a Grand Jeep, and a Pathfinder).
We live in the sticks.
a) Are you a Democrat, Republican, or other? Other. If you make me choose, I guess Democrat, but only 'cause the other options are even more laughable.
b) Do you own an SUV? No, but I want one. Specifically a Vue or similar small hybrid SUV. I guess I’d take a mid-sized hybrid SUV, but the large SUVs are just too much of a pain to park on the street. And I couldn’t afford the gas in a non-hybrid.
c) Are you a city dweller? Yes, but I camp (car camping) with a family of four at a site 6 hours away a lot, and an SUV would be a godsend in terms of packing and driving with fussy kids (and fussy me.) I just don’t have the money to spend on one, so my poor Saturn wagon will have to endure roof top carriers and overpacking a little while longer.
a) neither
b) yup, a Ford Expedition
c) suburbs
A. Democrat
B. No.
C. Close-in 'burbs
a) Democrat
b) No and would never own one.
c) City
Libertarian
Ford Explorer Sport, but I really want an Escape, Jeep Patriot or 4-cylinder truck. I obey traffic laws, don’t tailgate people, and don’t take up more room in parking spaces than many cars.
City dweller
a) Green, left-leaning, Independent
b) a battered old Jeep wrangler
c) very rural
