spoiler Who’s on first (base).[/spoiler]I’m such a nerd.
I got that about five seconds after the clip ended, and I giggled for about twenty minutes.
I’m in the freakin’ hilarious camp. My favorite that I’ve seen recently–“Dicks with Time Machines.”
There’s never been an episode of Robot Chicken that didn’t make me laugh out loud at least once. Count me in for “freakin’ hilarious”.
One of my favorite old skits was “Voltron Gets Served”. I was SO bummed when they changed the music for reruns and the DVD release. You can see it with the original music here.
Current season favorites are Cuddles, the fabric softener bear (“This is a no-no!”), and the Five Stages of Grief with the giraffe in quicksand.
Stoopid and freakin’ hilarious. One skit that had me giggling the rest of the night was when a pole vaulter impaled himself on his pole. Don’t ask me why, bit it had me in knots.
Much like British comedies, most Adult Swim shows- including Robot Chicken- are hit or miss. But it is often very funny. One of my favorite sketches was from the very first episode, in which Optimus Prime dies of prostate cancer. In fact, a prostate cancer organization thought it was both funny and informative. So get yo ass checked, before it’s too late!
Oh. My. God!
I spent days trying to figure that out the first time I saw it. And only now thanks to the magic of the STMB and the infinite wisdom of Bosstone, did I finally get that joke!!! :smack:
Oh and add me to the hysterical group.
Freakin’ stoopid. Which is what makes it so freakin’ hilarious!
freakin hilarious
Oh it is a little of column A and a little of column B. It works because it isn’t a full half hour. I enjoy it quite a bit. My wife likes it until she doesn’t (Some bits don’t work for her)
I’m not sure it’s been said yet…
freakin’ hilarious!
Sure fire ROFL material for me. daHubby wasn’t a fan until the skit where Darth Vader calls the Emperor in tears. Great stuff!
I love it. I’m a longtime Twisted Toyfare (formerly Mego) Theater fan, so I was predisposed toward thinging it was freaking hilarious.
Count me in: freaking hilarious, most of the time.
Freakin hilarious.
Voltron gets served always cracks me up. Kill Bunny makes me laugh. There’s a little bit with a clown parachuting down, when he pulls the ripcord it just comes off and nothing happens and he goes ‘Happy birthday Billy’ and just looks down.
One of my favorites, so help me, was the sketch with B. Rabbit the rapper vs. Elmer Phudd. What made it for me was the voice-over work of Bob Bergen and Bill Farmer, both of whom have Warner Brothers characters to their voice credits.
“I’ll sit on your head just like I was the Thinker.
Hmmm…phfttttt! Ain’t I a stinker?”
That Optimus Prime bit was what made me a fan for life. Especially the follow-up, after the Transformer sketch was already over. Cut to a doctor’s office, where the Human Torch says it burns when he pees. Out of the blue, Prime pops back into frame, “WHAT did I JUST tell you?!”
Freakin’ hii–larrou!
What?
Two more votes for freakin’ hilarious. I think I’ve seen the most wrong things I’ve ever seen on television on that show.
I liked the telethon bit, where everyone ended up dead. Or William Shatner’s crime-fighting toupé. Or the one where the Golden Girls sit and tallk about their favourite sex stories, while the guy in the next booth desperately tries to leave.
Say, do they sometimes have un-credited voices on the show? There are times (like the Golden Girls bit, for example) where I’d swear it’s the original person doing the voice, but they aren’t in the credits.
Freakin’ hilarious.
They might miss on a few, but they mercifully keep the show short and don’t stretch… every… joke. Yknow, like a certain famous live sketch comedy show. (They stretch a few too long, but “stretch” means a whole entire minute, oh no!)
