I was at New York Comic con today and attended the Robot Chicken panel with Seth Green and Matt. Coming up in December and January are a third hour long Star Wars special, a new Christmas special and the 5th season. They showed clips of all three. Very funny stuff. They hinted the season finale will be special as it will be their 100th episode.
My guess for the season finale:
They’re going to get cancelled.
Just a guess.
But seriously, Robot Chicken has been consistently funny. Looking forward to the next season.
Yay! I was worried another series wasn’t going to happen.
And I assume that you know that
They do that every year just in case they really are canceled
(response to Uosdwis R. Dewoh’s spoiler)
Consistently funny?
Nah. Mostly funny. Frankly, their entire second season annoyed the fuck out of me as it was nothing but sex and toilet humor, as if they’d run out of other material and were just going Lowest Common Denominator.
Some other things that I didn’t want to type with my thumbs:
Someone asked about those rumors he was creating a Star Wars sitcom. He said that was the mainstream media misunderstanding the third star wars special since it was an hour long and contained among the skits a longer story about Vader and the Emperor. But he also added later that you will something from Seth and Matt and Lucasfilm in “two or three years.” He would not go into detail.
Macaulay Caulkin was on the panel because he did his own voice in a sketch which was among the ones they showed, The bit is:
The Home Alone house catches on fire so in his rush to escape, Culkin triggers all his own booby traps.
If you have seen that Geek and Gamer Girls parody of California Girls, the chick in that is Seth’s wife. She was on the panel too but didn’t say much.
