5’2" and a size 4.
Buy children’s shoes, throw out the shoes, and wear the boxes.
I’m 6’0, wear size 9 1/2. I think that’s the US size… my soccer boots are smaller, though.
Like all the great soccer players, I have proportionally (sp?) small feet. I am proud of them. Marvel at the tinyness of my feet. Marvel!
I’m male, 5’10", and wear a US size 13.
Ha! I’ve looked at some of those cross-dresser shoes, and I don’t want to look like a hooker, thanks just the same.
Why is it that when men dress up like women they go for the hooker look? I can always tell when a man is dressed as a woman simply by the way they wear the clothes.
I bought a pair of shoes at Nordstrom’s one time, and they didn’t freak about the size the way they usually do. Maybe I should go back. Hmmm.
Thanks for the tips!
5’ 11 3/4", size 8 1/2 feet
mr.quilter is the same height, with size 12 feet
…seems like there ought to be a punch line there…
Height 175cm
Shoe size 7D (but I’m not sure how that translates to US sizes)
5’9 1/2 Female. I wear Mens size 7 1/2, or Womens size 9 (depending on the shoe I sometimes need the 9 Wide).
I have to agree with you on that - I have been poking fun of hubby for having toes like that for years now - eeewwww!!! It looks like he has a finger on his foot - yucky!!
Anywho, I am 5’7 and I wear a 7 1/2. And my family tells me I have clodhoppers. (They are all much shorter than me and wear a 5 1/2 or 6) After reading this thread, I feel much better about my feet
What? That’s not normal? <sigh> Guess you don’t want to see my feet - the second toes are a good quarter inch longer.
I’m about 6’1", and wear anywhere from size 12 to 14, depending on who’s making the shoes.
6’ 7" here, and size 16Wide US.
And no, it’s not true, the other correlation.
I must ask you where you find shoes. My daughter is 5’1 and wears a 4 and we have an extremely difficult time finding her shoes. She sticks to flip flops mostly.
As for me, I’m 5’8" and wear a 7.5 US
Wow, size 4–I thought my feet were small! On the opposite end of things, my brother is about 6’ and wears, I think, size 13 or 14. His problem is that he tapdances and finding men’s size 13 tap shoes is a pain in the ass.
5’ 1(ish, on a tall day)
US Size 4 feet (UK size 2, European size 35)
I buy kids shoes for trainers and sandals (tax free, great value) when the styles aren’t too different from adult shoes.
I get a size 36 and wear an insole or two in boots or leather shoes, when the styles are VERY different… patent leather T-bar flat shoes weren’t my favourites, even when I WAS 8 years old.
As far as heels are concerned, I buy brands that do smaller fitting sizes (usually Italian), buy styles with straps to keep my foot in the shoe (doesn’t help I have mega-high arches), and put those clear jelly half insoles at the toe. Very pointy shoes also stop my foot from sliding too far down.
I love shoes, but because nobody actually amkes pretty shoes in tiny sizes, I end up settling for the ones that fit me best, despite what they look like, and wear them until they fall apart.
My dream is to earn enough money to have my shoes hand-made.
Being a real-life Cinderella is not as much fun as you might think.
I suspect the second-piggy-larger-than-the-thumb-piggy thing is normal. Yet I do find it ickypants. …
The bottoms of Mr. MercyStreet’s piggies have pads of fattish flesh. He looks rather charmingly like a tree frog in that respect.
5’2" female, and I wear a US 8.
And for all yous who are bragging how beautful your feet are, I’ll brag that mine are ugly. I don’t have bumps or anything, but they are really wide and my big toe is huge. I like to paint my toenails and wear a toering, but it is like putting a dress on a monkey. Prettier, but still ugly.
Yucky?? Yucky??? But…but, I thought you loved *everything * about me???
5’6" and size 7.5-8 shoes. And very, very long toes. With second toes longer than the first. My toes creep everybody out. They are like fingers.
One of the first threads I started was “Can you pick up things with your feet?”
It won’t due for fancy shoes, but if you need sandals or boots, buy little boys. They’re perfect for not-too-big but w-i-d-e feet. That’s how boys’ feet are made too!
5’4" 7W to 7.5W (or 4.5 in boys )
I’m 5ft3 with UK sz8 feet… The size of my feet doesn’t bother me… I hate the shortness though
