- There was a deliberate decision made to include the slur in the broadcast to stir controversy and increase publicity.
- The situation is significantly worse than if the slur had been cut in broadcast and the incident leaked afterwards.
- Davidson’s apology was sufficient.
- Generally, Davidson is being judged too harshly.
- Generally, people don’t seem to understand the depth of hurt this caused to the presenters, regardless of intent.
- The entire situation is resolved as best it can be now and should be considered over with.
- Black people commenting on this need to be more sensitive towards disabled people and the prejudice and disgust they face.
- Disabled people commenting on this need to be more sensitive towards black people and the ongoing effects of racism.
- I am confident in my understanding of Tourette’s Syndrome.
- I have at least one pair of impulses on this issue that feel contradictory to some extent.
- This is a relatively simple issue/situation.
- I feel deep sympathy for 95% of the people involved.
