Would you ever consider getting a pet that might outlive you?
  • Yes. Dead pets are the worst!
  • Anything can happen to anyone at anytime; that they might outlive me is not a valid concern for me when choosing a pet.
  • I’d consider it, sure.
  • Only if it met certain other criteria, e.g. cuteness, affection, allergies, etc.
  • No. I wouldn’t want their fate decided without me.
  • I’m pretty old and/or unwell. Almost any pet might outlive me at this point.
