Consider how you yourself pronounce “worcestershire sauce”.

There are three Rs in “worcestershire sauce”. I would like to know how many of those Rs you actually make an R sound for:

  • I make all three R sounds.
  • 2 R sounds: I make the R sound in “wor” and the R sound in “ter”, but not the R sound in “shire”, but I DO pronounce the “shire” syllable. (I just pronounce it “shuh” or something.)
  • 2 R sounds: I make the R sound in “wor” and the R sound in “ter”, but not the R sound in “shire”, because I do not pronounce the “shire” syllable at all. (Maybe I’m British.)

  • Sometimes, and it’s not private. Who cares?
  • I don’t have a house with a yard, so I can’t really be naked if I leave my residence.

You are my friend. I also know your partner and kid, but the primary friendship is between us. I invite you to an afternoon birthday party without any specification about other people. The party is not being held in my house and and I have not told you anything about what type of place the venue is, mainly because I would like this to be a surprise.

Would you assume that the invite

  • Was for you and only you
  • Was for you and your partner
  • Was for you and your immediate family
  • You would have to check with me before bringing anyone else
  • Your partner was invited automatically, but you would have to check with me before bringing the kid

You have to miss the Highest Holiday of your People because you are still testing positive for covid. What do you do?

  • Cry all afternoon
  • Hug Tiny Bear.
  • Eat all the rest of your food, which isn’t much because you haven’t been to the grocery store in 15 days.
  • Dress in traditional garb and try to make the best of your celebration alone at home.
  • Follow the game on ESPN’s game tracker, because you don’t get the right channel.
  • Listen to Starkey
