Today is George R. R. Martin’s 75th birthday. He was 63 when he began writing The Winds of Winter which no longer even has a tentative publication date after failing to meet several previous deadlines. He’s also stated repeatedly, and at least as recently as 2019, that he will not begin to write the 7th and final book in the series, A Dream of Spring, until he’s finished writing The Winds of Winter.
You believe that:
He’ll publish novel #6 of 7 The Winds of Winter before he dies
He’ll publish novel #7 of 7 A Dream of Spring before he dies
He’ll at least finish writing The Winds of Winter before he dies
He’ll at least finish writing A Dream of Spring before he dies
He’ll at least have started writing A Dream of Spring before he dies
At this rate he’ll die before finishing The Winds of Winter
At this rate he’ll die before writing any of A Dream of Spring
A newspaper published in New York City runs an article about “the Gulf” without further specification. If you’re forced to guess, which gulf do you think the article is about?
