A student has completed a training program for a job that will put many people’s lives in his hands (surgeon, pilot, nuclear technician, etc.) Unfortunately, despite him technically passing the requirements, he has displayed numerous traits and behaviors that show that he would be highly reckless and dangerous in the position.

The contract specifies that all students who pass the posted requirements in the syllabus will be hired for the job, period. He is threatening to sue if there is breach of contract. What do you do?

Have you ever run out of gas, or for an EV out of range? Basically stranded? I remember as a broke idiot teenager (1970’s) making this mistake and a family member bailing me out. How about you?

Edit: somehow this became a public poll, which I almost never like to do. If I fix that I’ll lose all the votes. Sorry for messing that up!! (Well, also there’s only a 5m window to edit a poll, and it’s been 9 minutes :man_facepalming: )
