Last week the Trump administration enacted a policy to prevent federal transportation funds from being spent on things like public transit and bike / pedestrian infrastructure, based on the logic that the majority of Americans get around by car, therefore car-centric infrastructure is what Americans want / need.
So, question for American Dopers:
I get around mostly by driving, and that’s the way I like it. Even if a viable alternative existed, I’d still prefer to drive everywhere.
