Poly, I don’t go to post count parties, but this isn’t JUST a post count, this is a celebration of the richness that you bring wherever you happen to be, and it’s to THAT end, I lift my Barq’s Root Beer can! 
Congratulations to one of my favorite posters and sparring partners. Though I may attack your arguments, your loving and well-meaning nature is always a joy to encounter. ::raising glass:: To the next 4K, which I anticipate as eagerly as the first!

Polycarp, once upon a time, I had long sought to engage you in debate. Having done so, having been forced to question the essence of my tenets, and having realized that those maxims are spawned, albeit differently manifested than yours, from the same source, I have truly realized not only your contribution to the board, but to myself. Thank you. I only hope that of the next four thousand posts, I have the opportunity to be involved in the conversation.
And a more worthwhile four thousand posts would be hard to find. I can’t think of a single example of a post of yours, which I have read that was not well stated, and worth the effort of reading.
