Is there any truth to the theory that if you put Pop-Tarts in a toaster and hold the handle down, it will burn like nothing else? It will spout flames three feet high? Anyone have photos online of any of these pop-tarts?

What the Hell happened to Dutch Apple flavored Pop-Tarts?
When I was in first grade I wanted all my food intake to be in the form of Pop Tarts:

Uh, to give credit where credit is due, I think Dave Barry exposed the Strawberry PopTart/toaster in flames connection a few years back, in a very funny column. Don’t know where to find it, though.
