Seems like this is designed to get The Lord off the hook for pranks and catfishing people.
So all those times they said the bible was the inerrant word of god, I guess they were mistaken
I don’t remember the Lord’s Prayer stating “Everybody Wang Chung tonight.”
I wonder if the putatively “original” Aramaic version might not have been something like “Lead us away from temptation.” That way does follow the pattern of “GIVE us . . . our daily bread” and “FORGIVE us our [sins],” in that it requests an actual ACTION from the Deity (giving, forgiving, leading).
ETA: I note that he never once says “PLEASE.” Rude.
OK, I get the part about hot dishes, but what’s the Lutheran pension plan?

Hold on, bub. This is from the Old Testament. I know the newbie fandom likes to retcon Jesus into the storyline, but the Original Showrunner introduced this psalm waaaay earlier in the program for His oldest and handpicked–Chosen, one might say–audience.
Talk about co-opting culture.
What is? The Lord’s Prayer is from the New Testament (specifically, Matthew)—was there something else kanicbird was referencing?
