I always stuck around in most scenes until the NPC’s started repeating themselves. One of the most amusing parts of the area you mentioned, though is:
When you go back to that location after Wheatley has told you to “come back” (or if you just stand there after escaping the death trap, which is what I did), GladOS berates you for being stupid and going back.
Anybody playing on steam or PSN co-op? I’m sinjineer on PSN and sinjinerd on steam. The steam co-op seems different than the PS3, in the same living room, co-op game. So far I’ve played with 3 folks on steam. One was as clueless as I was. One was really helpful but I got kicked off the network. The third was an idiot.
I’m slow but eventually I figure stuff out. Poke me if you want to play.
