Since I have seen several threads bashing best buy, thought I would post this.
I went to best buy yesterday, and bought several things, including a dvd of the mummy returns. I got to the register and after they rang up my purchase, I discovered I was missing my best buy card. They set my stuff to the side, and I went to customer service to get my card number. When I came back, the register I had been at had a line in front of it. I moved my stuff to the next register, which was open. The clerk there, just pulled up my ticket on the computer, and ran my card. Apparently when I gathered up my stuff, I missed the copy of the mummy returns, because when I got home, it wasnt there, even though I paid for it.
The next day, my wife goes down to best buy, with the reciept, and explains what happened. They just gave her another copy of the movie, without question. I think most places would have just said tough luck, you lost it after you left here, would have assumed that we were lying.
So anyway, wether this was my fault, for missing it when i changed registers, or they screwed up and didnt put it in the bag, it was good customer service to take care of the situation, and they deserve the recognition since we slam them around here so much.
