Possibility of a DallasDope?

Let’s see how this works. Here is a supposed map to El Fenix:

If that comes up the same way for everyone, the “B” shows where Google thinks El Fenix is, but the little guy that is standing on the “114” is about where it really is.

For those approaching from the east, take the Main street exit, cross and turn into the Joe’s Crab Shack parking lot, then keep heading west.

For those coming from the west by way of 121, you will want to take the William D. Tate exit and stay on the access road (which I was reminded of today because I didn’t take that exit and it’s a long way to the next exit!)

TroubleAgain, would you like me to pick you up or are you going to get a car?

I don’t know yet. I will be travelling with two co-workers and we haven’t discussed whether we’ll rent a car or not, yet. I may bring them along, or maybe not…

Zyada, I’ve checked with my friends, and we’re not renting a car, and at least one of my friends has made other plans for Sunday night. So if you don’t mind, I’d love to be picked up. I’ll PM you with my cell number.

Here’s the menu

Damn, now I’m hungry. I think I may have to hit El Ranchito Jalisco this week.

TroubleAgain - I’m looking forward to meeting you!

I am totally jazzed. This should be one of the biggest Dopefests I’ve been to. Did you get my PM with my cell number?

I did indeed get it.

I put a correction in for this address into google maps. Hopefully it will pass review and be corrected soon.

Enjoy,
Steven

Guess I never mentioned officially, but I’m in.

Yay!

One week from tonight…

OMIGOD! It was a near thing, but I’ve finally heard from my boss’s boss that my trip is NOT cancelled. (I’ve been sweating it since Thursday.) We’re in “cost containment”, which means all non-necessary expenditures are cancelled. But since the conference $$$ is already spent, he’s letting us go! Wheeee!

So I get about nine of us, unless I lost count. (I’ve been nagging my boss about scheduling Sunday off for me. She’s had the note for days now, so it better be right!)

Zyada will make a reservation sometime soon.

– Bob

I’ll be out of touch from Friday night until Sunday afternoon, but I still plan to be back in the city in time to be there. So, I’m RSVPing for the two of us, in case you have lost count.

SO cool! I can’t wait.

Be very glad you’re not coming in tonight. We just got hit with a freak snowstorm.

Not looking forward to the drive home tonight…

And it’s supposed to keep hitting. It’s 4:00 PM CST here and by about 7:00 the temp will start edging under 32F, but by 11:00 it will be above freezing again. Here’s the forecast for Grapevine:

Bring some warm clothes!

Dang! I will!

OK, so we’re looking at tomorrow (Sunday) evening, right? The where and when being:

[QUOTE=Zyada]
Shall we say March 9th (Sunday) starting at 6PM?

Change my “maybe” to a “definite”. I’m in!
