Twice today when I clicked on a thread, I received the same database-error message that appeared the last time the Board went down. I’ve not seen this message since that occasion. Both times today, I hit the Back button and reclicked, then it worked fine.
At various times over the last day or so, I have experienced this when :[ol][li]Opening a forum.[/li][li]Opening a thread.[/li][li]Loading a new page in a thread.[/li]Replying to a thread.[/ol]As with the OP, clicking the “Back” button and trying again has always succeeded in loading the page I wished.
Worse still, it just did it again when I tried to Search for something. I tried Refresh, and that worked. BUT … it counted my Refresh as a second Search and said I had to wait five minutes again.
For a while tonight new posts weren’t showing up; you could read them if you opened the thread they were in, but the main forum would say that there were only two posts and not 6, say. It seems to be working now; try again ?
Yup, there’s definitely been more errors than usual over the last 24 hrs or so. I couldn’t even log-in earlier until I had closed down FF and cleared my cache and cookies.
Not only is Search screwing up for me today, but I just started a new thread in MPSIMS on the top 5 karaoke-inspired acts of violence, and the thread disappeared immediately after it was posted.
