“I would personally drive you to the ends of the earth” said in an somesort of an accent. At least that’s what I believe the line is, and I’m only assuming it’s actually from a movie. It’s just a line amongst other soundbytes that’s played between some songs (or at the start of a certain segment) on a local radio station in Milwaukee. Anyways, it always intrigued me, and I always wanted to figure out what it was from. If there’s any Milwaukee dopers reading this it’s from WKLH 96.5. Don’t remember when exactly it’s played but it’s around the time of the five 'o clock funnies or the seventies at seven or something around there.
Found this:
Bordello of Blood (1996)
Miguel: [to Vincent] You drive us all the way to the end of the earth… for a fuckin’ stiff?!
From this search:
It’s a start… :dubious:
From a google search:
Bobbins: “I’ll be happy to personally drive you to the ends of the Earth.”
Darrin: “I’ll be glad to drive her even farther if necessary.”
This being from an old episode of Bewitched. Perhaps?
Perhaps that’s it, I’m pretty sure that’s the exact quote. I’ll see if I can get TiVo to keep an eye out for that episode so I can hear it myself.
Maybe it’s Ricardo Montalban in “Wrath of Khan”. Or not.
