Memorable Movie lines

Does anyone remember what film this line came from:

“You’ve got a way of starting conversation that ends conversation.”

If my memory serves, it was either Paul Newman or James Caan to an actress as they were driving in a convertible. That’s all I can remember. Thanks for the help.

The IMdB is fantastic, you know

The line is from Harper (1966)

“The world ends when I die. And as far as I’m concerned, the rest of the universe might as well call it a day too.” – Matt Groening

If it was Harper then it was Paul Newman and the convertible was a Porsche.

“The departure of the church-going element had induced a more humanitarian atmosphere.”
Dorothy L. Sayers
