Possum Fur Nipple Warmers?

OK, who has a pair of these? (possibly NSFW) It’s time to come clean. :dubious:

As amusingly weird as those are, I find the “buy our products to help fund killing these damn pests” selling point distinctly odd, though refreshingly honest. It almost seems calculated to make PETA members’ heads explode.

And no, I don’t own a set. Someone must, though, since they’re out of stock.

ETA: I also clicked on the ear muffs, and noticed it had a color selection dropdown. The options were…“Possum”.

Breast tribbles!

As a southern male that hates cold weather…I gotta say thier possum fur “bananna hammock” keeps my boys warm on the coldest of nights.

Can’t say that I do. I have, however, seen possum fiber yarn in yarn shops. It’s surprisingly soft and lovely. My sister-in-law bought some.

A friend of mine got sent to a big NZ agricultural show to take photos at the product launch - his wife wasn’t impressed with his name on the photos of models in nipple warmers and fur-lined knickers in the paper the next day. :smack:

The best stuff is a merino wool/possum fur blend - stunningly light, warm and soft. Makes the best gloves, socks and hats. It is expensive, as a possum does not have much fur. They have this really cool machine - a stiff dead possum goes in one end, and a naked stiff dead possum comes out the other.

I have a possum skin at home, but I have to hide it as it squicks my daughter out. And I really want one of these - forget your bearskin rug - I want a possum fur blanket in front of my fire.

Bought a pair ages ago as a joke present. Haven’t been brave enough to enquire of the recipient whether they work or not.

I’m fairly sure that Jethro bought one for Granny.

Oh thank OG it wasn’t a Tennessee product!
I’m so relieved.

Not me. I’m more a fan of cold, perky, erect nipples any way. Raisins deserved to be smuggled.

Marboobials.

Given hair’s penchant for taking root on top of the body and around the sex bits, the cover photo looks oddly appropriate, albeit in an anachronistic, decidedly prehistoric way.

:confused::dubious::eek::D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I’m really glad that these are not American possums, which look mangy at the best of times.

They still really are pretty soft, believe it or not.

Band Name!!

So whats on the other side of these things? And how do they attach? Glue? Staples?

Yep. I know how you feel. Of course, here in south Louisiana, I’m sure we would have cooked the animal first, THEN made nipple covers from the fur. All the dancers on Bourbon Street could have worn a pair.

Hmm…wonder if that would work with nutria?

The only sexy thing I see is nipple warmers. Am I missing some links?
Wool socks? Yuck!

Now all we need is a lodge…

Oh, people do eat possum (from the TB free areas). Fairly good eating, I’ve tried it once. But most possums are killed with cyanide bait these days (used to be gin traps, but they were banned a long time ago). Spotlighting is also popular - the possum eyes shine red from the lights, then a .22 takes them out.
