Joined in late 2001, got a membership sponsored for the first few years of p2p, but then decided I didn’t want to leech off others and would wait until free posting came back. (In all honesty, I was kind of losing hope there for a while, especially when the announcements suddenly disappeared from the tops of the forums… I’m glad I was wrong though.) In the meantime, I did what I now do at SA: lurked, lurked, lurked some more, and every now and then silently swore at my lack of credit card.
It’s good to see you guys again. Hope you stick around.
