I started lurking pretty much exactly when the SDMB announced collecting money, which was discussed at some other board back then. It’s good to finally join forces.

This is like those times when someone revives a zombie thread, and I read along until I realize that some of those people don’t post here anymore, and then that the thread is from four years ago, except that this isn’t a zombie, and some pleasantly familiar posters from ‘yore’ are actually still here.

Well, I can post, at least. I think I first stumbled upon the board just before it went pay-to-post. I drifted away for awhile, but have been around quite a bit the past few years.

Hey P! I was looking at all your posts in this thread just searching for some spelling or grammar error I could nitpick you about*… But your writing is immaculate like always. 
So this isn’t a total waste of a post, and add something worthwhile to this thread, and help out a fellow lurker, isthis the thread y’all are talking about?
Which of course means that you’ll find something wrong in this post.
