I don’t really know, either… Spoz once told me that we Dopers write way too damn much, and those with the astronomically high post counts (for his purposes, 1000+) must have WAY too much spare time on their hands. (I can think of at least one person here who might qualify for that description… no, not myself!)

You’ve got some excellent points there, tomndebb – given my limited knowledge base and my desire to generally remain neutral, I doubt my post count will ever increase too much. Oh well, I can learn by reading. (I didn’t come here to erase ignorance, I came here to get my own ignorance erased!)
