Well, Saxface is not the only one of us to be going on a roadtrip. This Sunday morning, I will be leaving Dallas (for good!) to drive up to Wichita, KS to meet my mom and then we’re heading out to San Diego. So far we are still arguing about whether to head through Las Vegas, or cut down to New Mexico and then go to the Grand Canyon.
Anyways, anyone who wants a post card from Dallas, Wichita, and points between there and San Diego, drop me a line with a snailmail address, and I’ll send it to you.
On a more somber note, once I’m out of this place (Friday is my last day), my time on the board is going to be cut drastically. I won’t have eight hours a day of T-3 access to the Internet, and I’ll be working my butt off at earning some money, going to classes, and then more classes and student teaching. I expect that my time will be gobbled up before I can sit down at my parents puny 56K modem and coax it into signing on to the board. I do promise to stop by when I get the chance, and I will be available by email and Yahoo Messenger for anyone interested.
It’s been a wonderful year here for me. Learned a lot, had a lot of friends, spewed Coke through my nose on more than one occasion. I’ll be around today and Friday, and then . . . well, I’ll be seeing you every now and then.

The Grand Canyon is good but it doesn’t have any gas stations or rest areas and it’s really better when you’re travelling by boat. If you’re going by car, I recommend the interstate for long trips.
