I’m going to Shanghai, China in June. I’m going for business. The particular tasks set out for me will take 3-4 days, and we’re planning 7 days there, plus travel time, so I’ll get to do a little sightseeing. My boss is coming with me. He’s been there once already, so it will be good to have him along.
Next weekend I’m headed out for a road trip along the coast to Fort Ross, Salt Point, and Point Arena, with stops along the way for anything of interest.
Going back to the States in a month or so. Been traveling Asia and Europe for the better part of a year now. I’m not entirely ready to dive back into the murky depths of reality, but my bank account says otherwise.
Tomorrow we’re going on a visit to the town of Guanajuato, Mexico.
Next weekend, I’ll be going home to Michigan, but just for a single day to make sure the house is okay.
Then, I’ll resume my very, very long term business trip here.
To New Jersey to visit family and friends next month. A couple of NYC days shopping and boozing it up, a couple of Atlantic City days partying like a rock star, and a couple of hanging out and doing nothing days with the family, and I’ll be right as rain.
To Maryland in May to see my daughter graduate. Then to Germany next year to visit her wherever she winds up there - she got a Fulbright to teach, and they haven’t told her where yet.
Well I’m going down to Rosedale, take my rider by my side.
Actually, tomorrow morning I’m going to Kansas City, Kansas City (here I come).
For business. Unfortunately, it’s at a hotel near the airport, so I don’t really get to see Kansas City, and I’ll probably have to eat nothing but room service for 5 days.
I’m going to Charleston, SC next week for a biz conference. Never been there, and I’m looking foward to it. I’ll be there for four days, and the confernce comes complete with a golf outing, free drinks and a promised poker game somewhere along the way, so … yeah … it’ll be grueling.
