There was a distribution kit to run Foxpro without the client having Foxpro.
Somebody told the boss there is something to run Powerpoint without Powerpoint.
Help.
Well, you can use…the name escapes me right now, but it’s a program in the Documents to Go suite for Palm handhelds.
There is also OpenOffice that has it’s own version (it’s an open source meaning free program) of PowerPoint that is supposed to be quite good. I never installed it, but I am 99% sure it can run PowerPoint files.
This would be something we’d distribute, and I won’t (I hope) go with the CDs to install applications.
You mean Powerpoint Viewer?
It’s free from Microsoft and allows you to view and print presentations.
Google on “powerpoint viewer”.
Outstanding!
Thank you.
