For those who don’t know, pownce.com is the latest project from Kevin Rose, the Digg all star kid. It’s like Twitter mixed with AIM and stuff, or so I hear.

I don’t understand a word you said.
I’m not entirely clear on how it’s any different from email.
Yeah, looks like someone mashed AIM, email and Facebook together. Doesn’t look the least bit compelling to me, but then, I still haven’t quite understood the point of things like Tribe, MySpace and Digg.
I don’t know or care what Pownce is, but I would just like to say that’s an astonishingly crap name for something, anything.
