Two main ways to multiquote. You can highlight the part from the first post that you want to quote, then press the Quote button that magically pops up. Go to the next post and do the same thing. And so on.

Or you can press the Reply button under the first post (not the one at the bottom of the thread), then click the speech bubble. Click Reply under the next post you want to quote. Click the speech bubble. And so on.

That’s precisely the difficulty I encountered this morning, and why I posted the above test. Googling (about Discord boards in general) seems to indicate it’s a per-user permission, maybe our accounts lost that permission for some reason.

That URL is too complex, and doesn’t end with a recognizable file type to expand into a preview. Whereas stripping out the extraneous parts of the URL to just the direct link to the picture resource yields:

Apparently, it is set up to automatically delete/remove any quote where we quote the entire post.

Only if the quoted post is the most recent post.

Testing if only the most recent post gets deleted on a quote since the post I’m quoting (actually 2 posts) was from June 2020.
