However, you still are not allowed to quote the entire post of the previous poster in the thread. It deletes the quote via an automatic edit. I have gotten into the habit of deleting the last period or punctuation mark of quotes like that.
I wish we could fix that.

If you really need to make a short post, you can add extra length, then edit down. That works

I’ve quoted, but when I publish the post, I don’t always see the quote in the new post/reply I make.
What browser are you using? I’m using Firefox, and it works fine. Browsers do make a difference with different applications.
