Hey gang.
A friend of mine is having a rather substantial moral/spiritual crisis that I need to throw some water on tonight. I’d love to go into the details, but I’m a little short on time at the moment. Suffice it to say that I’m not getting any sleep tonight.
Prayers to the almighty are welcome from you Judeo-Christian-Muslims out there; happy thoughts from everyone else are just as important. (I hate segregating it like that, but…y’know. Here we are.) Thanks!
Those can be very tough to deal with, Res. If I was at prayer meeting right now (which I’m not, thanks to Vernon), I’d say private prayers for you. Something like “Grant him wisdom to know what he’s dealing with, grant him the strength to be able to handle this situation, grant him the energy and stamina he’ll need to stay awake in the midst of this crisis…” That kind of thing and more.
I hope you have the courage to confront whatever it is head on, and I’ll be keeping you in my prayers. Strength, courage, energy, stamina, the courage to be a mentor/guiding light, etc. I’d add more, but haven’t time.

Not many people ask for prayers around here so I would be happy to pray for your friend. Hopefully you can offer a little more on the details area though, that would help.
