Sami Hyypiä’s been off the boil for most of this season. He was a shoo-in for last season, but I’d question him this season. He has picked up of late, though, I’ll give him that.
Antti Niemi is just brilliant. I’ll choose him in goal, definitely. Let me think a bit about who’s going to link up with who going forward…

Hard to argue with many of these selections (except for Neville, who is vastly overrated, and Parlour, who works his ass off but is not blessed with a surfeit of natural talent)…and I’m so glad that David “The Most Overrated Keeper Ever” James hasn’t been mentioned…
