I think you fellas are barking up the wrong tree here. It’s easy to do obscure – you want to come up with a title that can be grasped immediately, or with only a little thought. That’s why went with Underworld: Parthenogenesis instead of simply Parthenogenesis – the “Underworld” immediately suggests “Underworld: Evolution” (the recent flick), so you can see that “Parthenogenesis” is the obvious precursor to “Evolution”. But if I’d just gone with “Parthenogenesis” I’d have a lot of people simply scratching their heads.
The trick is to try and come up with something easily deduced, original (there’s a lot of repetrition of ideas, and of some titles in the above thread), and involving the idea of “prequel” (too many of the above seem to be based on the idea of a “Lite” version of the film evoked, rather than a prequel to it).
Go on! You can do it!

(By the way - anyone get “Star with Mass > 15 Solar Masses” yet?)

The V Files: College student and conspiracy enthusiast Fox Mulder works as a crew member on the Drama department’s production of The Vagina Monologues.

Was there a Supernova movie?

Oh wait, I bet it’s Disney’s The Black Hole.
Love Rhombus, I got the The Thing (From Another World), but I think more people are familiar with the ‘Antarctic station’ version.

Sorry, that’s not the case. I was wondering where you got this and found it at the IMDB. I have a feeling the title was translated (to make it clearer that it’s an English house, not some guy dying), and the person who posted it didn’t know that.
Further nitpick - Howards End.

You’re still winning the thread, though.
