I need to buy a present for my niece, who apparently has an intense desire to get mobile. She’s too small for a bike and too cool for a trike. What’s out there? A Big Wheel would be perfect, but it appears they are no longer made - Damn brat customer aide in the toy store had NO IDEA what I was talking about. Young pup. :mad:

Don’t they make cars for kids now? I see commercials with little boys in tiny Jeeps all the time.
Unless they stopped making them about a month ago, Big Wheels are very much still in circulation.
Maybe the person you spoke with really didn’t know what they are. Or possibly you were at the wrong store.
Try Wal-Mart, K-Mart, or possibly Target. All my kids had them, and my youngest is only six. However, when I was looking for one for my friend’s child,(at Wal-Mart) like I mentioned, about a month ago, they were there.
They also have the smaller versions for very little kids, ages two up to about three or four. I think those are called Lil Tykes, or something along those lines.
How about a Hoppity Horse?
