Well done, everyone!
The voting thread has been established with a poll here . It will close in three days to give as many people as possible a chance to read and ponder the submissions. Once again, many thanks and congratulations to all of the poets for their great work!

An Ode to Air Travel:
Flight overbook’d? (Oh what a treat!)
Or poorly-Buttocked are the seats?
Eschew corporeal transportation
Travel by Transubstantiation
Bear with me while I explain:
Morph yourself into a wafer.
Travel crisply on a plane
Then reverse; it’s likely safer.

Didn’t end up being available during the correct hour last night. But just for kicks, I’ll post something anyway.
The last time you laughed.
I remember, you
grinned, “buttocked?”
You laughed. I remember.
Flesh turns to food. You
and I turned from flesh.
A real transubstantiation
it’s been.
The last time you laughed
but we got overbooked
Though it’s a late submission, I do want to register, on my honor, that I wrote it within an hour of the time I read the three words.

Ah, I just realized the word was “overbook” not “overbooked.” Well, I like it anyway, and I’m glad the challenge spurred me to write it.
Actually, I think picking a random word or two to use is maybe a really good idea for actually producing actual work, not just for playing games.
