Princess Diana's butler ~ What a meatpickle!

astro, lets take a look at the SHOCKING revelations the NOTW have to reveal

Why did they say “Gay lover”?

There is nothing sensitive in the letters, as their quotes below show.

  1. they dont show the heading of the paper to show they were from the Palace, or Winsor Castle, or the Yacht.

  2. they assume that he wasn’t allowed to use the stationary.
His indiscretions ridicule the Royal Family’s high security.

How is this a breach of Trust? I can see the exclusive headlines “Queen Mother will be in a Parade for her birthday! Quelle Suprise!”

“Royal Butler in Gay Lover Petname Shock”

Queen Walks Dogs and goes to Hairdresser Shock"

the court circulars are made public anyway.

“Diana to wear white dress and jewelry on Wedding SHOCK”

that was never a secret. Here is web page that mentions it

Burrell revealed in a letter on Aug 5 1981 the scene at Charles and Diana’s wedding breakfast.

He said: "The bride and groom were so excited and nervous they couldn’t eat the fish, roast chicken and strawberries and fresh cream!

“All Charles had was a few strawberries, Diana managed a slice of pineapple! Perhaps they had thoughts of something else!” On June 26 1981 bitchy Burrell gossipped about events at Prince Andrew’s lavish 21st birthday bash.

He wrote: "The Queen went to bed at 4am. Lady Diana stayed up until 6am dancing on the lawn with Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones.

“The P O Wales was in bed by 1am—left Lady Di at the party.”

there is nothing scandalous mentioned in this.

they give no evidence of this

this implies he spoke about the child before it was born. the problem here is that if Zara was born on the 15th May 1981

how is she “unborn” on the 17th when the letter is dated? and the childs name is hardly a court secret.

In a note dated Nov 17 1980 after the Queen’s visit to Morocco he said: "King Hassan had no regard for time. He was constantly late for engagements with the Queen.

“In fact he managed to keep the Queen waiting for an hour before he managed to arrive aboard Britannia for a state banquet. The Queen wasn’t very amused!”

[quote]

King Hassan had a history of this. It was no secret.

Once again they offer no proof that her movements were discussed. You could assume that she would be in a certain city at a certain time, but those details would be public anyway.

Safe from what, exactly?

In a leering note dated Aug 24 1980 from Balmoral he wrote: “I am about to fall into my bed, after having a bath, with two of my dearest friends— they are both girls!! Don’t worry! They are two of the Queen’s corgis. In fact they are puppies and so sweet and cuddly.”

[quote]

so he looks after the corgi’s. He was a Royal Aide! That was his job!

And what does this have to do with wether he is trustworthy or not?
the only thing it says is that he had a Gay lover that he bought a present for. Hardly a crime, but any innuendo that disparages Burrell will do for the NOTW.

He has a pair of his lovers underpants. and no proof they were left in his “Palace” bed.
the NOTW is as good a source as the Weekly World News.

I would think him having a heterosexual male lover would be more shocking.

I think you left off “Gay Man Enjoys Listening To Sheena Easton SHOCK”, but apart from that a good assessment of the sheer inanity of the whole situation, Twisty.
