I have a Lexmark x83 printer, and recently it has ceased to turn on. I have checked the outlet and it works fine. The printer has never done this before, and nothing was changed that could have caused this to start. Any ideas what I can do to fix it?
Have you tried using a different AC adapter? Yours might have blown a fuse, or have a poor connection.
Where could I get an AC adaptor? I need one that outputs 30V.
Best Buy… Circuit City… wherever you bought the printer… or online at the manufacturer’s website. I’d suggest just borrowing one from a friend while you’re testing it though.
Cheaper or more practical to just buy a new printer. You could take your adapter to the hardware store & ask them to test the output.
