Prison Break was on at 8?! WTF?!

Please, tell me I was not the only one to miss Prison Break tonight.

And what the F___ is this K-Ville show anyway? I give it 5 weeks at most.

Prison Break has always been on at 8 Eastern.

I nodded off and missed about the first 20 minutes, so I’m completely lost as to the structure of the new prison. I kind of don’t have a lot of hope for this season but given how much fun the first two seasons were I’m willing to go along for the third at least for a while.

The structure of the prison is that there was a serious riot there last year and the guards took off and refused to come back. The authorities have just fenced it off and left the prison to the prisoners. Anyone going in has to a sign a release that they don’t hold the authorities responsible if they get hurt or killed, anyone who escapes is instantly killed.

The cool black dude is apparently running the show. He is a good character.

ETA: Prison Break has always been on at 8, except the past three weeks when they were showing episodes at 8 and 9:00. K*ville was shown at 9:00 yesterday and will be shown at 9:00 tonight, pushing the rerun of House to 8:00. Fox is running it after their two most popular shows to get an audience.

I was wary about another season, but I have to admit they set up season 3 pretty well. (Spoilers from ep. 1):You’ve got Michael, Mahone, Bellick and T-Bag – all of whom hate the other three – trapped in this hellhole prison run by an inmate druglord. Michael’s being forced to try to break out someone Of Interest to the Conspiracy, who will kill Sarah and LJ if he doesn’t. While T-Bag gets cozy with El Jefe, Mahone helps Michael stay alive (because he is counting on him to get them out) and Bellick is treated like a slave.
I think it sets up some nice character dynamics.

On another note, is Sarah Wayne Callies (Dr. Sara Tancredi) in the cast this year? She was noticibly absent last night, with LJ doing all the talking for them. I want some Dr. Sara!

Yeah, I was going to give up on this show, but decided to give the season opener a try-- it wasn’t half bad. Once all the new shows start, though, it might drop to the bottom of the “must watch” list.

Has Mahone ever interacted with T-Bag? I don’t think they’ve met.

Let’s hope not. They’re pumping a lot of money into the New Orleans economy and employing a lot of industry professionals in that neck of the woods. It would, of course, help if the show is good; I hope it is, though I’m personally pretty tired of police shows and won’t be watching myself (especially once Heroes starts up).

The actress just had a kid and the rumor going around is that she doesn’t want to come back to work. Not confirmed tho’. They used a body double for the first few episodes.

I missed all but the last ten minutes too. Does Fox do the free online thing?
