I can has Prison Break? Season 3 ep 1

It starts tonight?

Sucre! Please be alive!

I’ll alert a mod to fix your title. Looking forward to seeing the show.

Psssst Liberal Over here &here

I move that unless the thread title is changed to remove the forced attempt to manufacture a lame “in-joke” that we all boycott it.

Prison Break ended. Everything turned out fine in Panama. Linc and Michael got their names cleared, reunited with Dr Sarah and all the antagonists ended in in prison. THE END.

And in all seriousness, I am not going to get drawn into this forced third season. If it turns out to be brillant, maybe ill watch it over a weekend in the summer, but as far as I’m concerned, one of my fav shows was wrapped up nicely, and it was put to rest at the time it deserved to be.

Dear god. Seconding Otto.

I really like this premiere. I’ve been sucked back in!

Best line in the episode: It’s not chicken.

I didn’t see this and posted in the other PB thread, but let me just ask – is Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara Tencredi) not in the cast this year? Waaaahhh!

From justjared.com, a celebrity news website:

Yeah, I’m not quite sure. They seem to be setting up some interesting things, but this new prison they’re in. Don’t like it. I was excited for a few minutes when it seemed Michael would only be there a day or two, but of course I should have known that wouldn’t work out, and now he’s in there for what - the whole season? No!

I was anxious to find out what happened to Sucre, but they didn’t show anything. Of course, he’s on the opening credits and the scenes for next week kinda spoiled the suspense. Guess I have my answer.

I’m in for now. But that prison bugs me.

Someone help me out here. My memory’s faulty. I could have sworn when the guys were admitted into this prison, it was in a city. But now the prison seems to be out in the country. Did I miss something?

The previews had a quick clip of “Sara” from the back; seemed to me it clearly wasn’t Sarah. But given the storyline, it could be weeks before Sara actually needs to do anything, and by that time maybe Sarah will be available again.

oops

Actually, what you originally posted kinda fit with the “that’s not chicken” line.

So, is SONA supposed to be modelled on San Pedro prison, in La Paz, Bolivia?

I just watched it last night and loved it. (BTW, if you missed it, Amazon Unbox has it for free and I wouldn’t be surprised if iTunes does as well) I’m a late-comer to PB, and just started catching up on the box sets this summer (I still haven’t finished season 2). I think they’ve set it up nicely for an interesting, suspenseful season. My only worry is how the issues with SWC may affect the story.

There are some really well written episodes towards the end of season two. Bad Blood is one of my favorites. But overall, the show can be a bit silly and over the top at times, I assume quite on purpose. It’s part of the popcorn eye candy fun for me. The whole thing is delivered with a straight face, but I think you’re supposed to giggle a little here and there.

Which is why I titled the thread as I did. Guess I wadded a few panties into a bunch. No loss.

I’m just glad to see Bellick as the prison bitch. I hate that guy.

I’m about 10 episodes into Season 2 (I am so glad they killed off Veronice, she bugged the crap outta me) but know the basic outline so I can watch Season 3. It is over-the-top but quite entertaining once you just relax and suspend disbelief. Truthfully, I first started watching for the eyecandy that is Wentworth Miller (a Princeton graduate, swoon) but then got hooked on the story.

I stumbled across Prison Break while changing channels. They were actully breaking out of prison, and I was like “WTF?” By the time I had figured it out, I was hooked on Wentworth Miller.

Good thing he is such eye candy, his “acting” is a horrendous.
