Are the masks worn by the two girls real masks you could buy at an anime store or are they made up for the series? If they’re real, what is the name of the anime character?
For the first couple minutes of the show I was hoping that the girl was some kind of stop action animated figure they’d inserted in the show.

I’ve watched a lot of anime since I posted this and I think the answer is “generic anime character”. As for retail masks, I’ve been to a lot of anime conventions and I’ve never seen anything similar.
